In the List View, tap the due date on the right side of a task and you'll be switched to the countdown mode. If you don't want to see due date countdowns, simply tap again to switch back.
If you can't find it there after tapping the due date, or you want to disable this function entirely. Please go to Settings > General > Countdown Mode, and here you can make any changes.
